Chamber Events
We Mean Business.
... all year long. Chamber events promote networking, promote our businesses or promote Greenville as a community. To volunteer, participate, or sponsor a chamber event, contact us at
(616) 754-5697.
January - Chamber Annual Dinner
. An awards dinner acknowledging our accomplishments as a business community over the previous year, and honoring distinguished businesses and individuals with well-deserved awards.
February & September - Business Seminars.
The Chamber brings an expert to Greenville to help us improve our skills in time management, customer service, networking, social networking, whatever you want!
March - Career Showcase
Parents and students get a peek at the many careers available right here in Greenville! Tour a workplace and learn what education, personal characteristics and training it takes to succeed.
March, June, September, and December - Business After Hours.
Hosted by a member business, enjoy door prizes, networking, and refreshments while keeping in touch or making new contacts.
May - Chamber Golf Outing.
Always taking place at a member course, this event is a great excuse to get out of the office and treat your best customers or employees to a day in the sunshine. It's also a great opportunity to network or make your business more visible via sponsorships.
July - Gus Macker.
Come join 1500 players and spectators for "hoops in the street" as historic downtown Greenville is transformed into Mackerville! For sponsorship information, email the
Chamber office
or (616) 754-5697. To play in the Macker, contact the
Macker office
or (616) 754-0373.
August - Greenville Car Show
. Enjoy food, prizes & hundreds of cool cars while a DJ keeps your pistons hummin' with great tunes in our historic downtown! To volunteer or enter your car in the show, email the
Chamber
or (616) 754-5697.
October - GReenville Area Community Expo (GRACE)
Sample delicious specialties from local restaurants, win one of the many door prizes, get FREE blood screening (worth $250!) and take in the products and services available right here at home. You don't want to miss this!
October - Business to Business Trick-or-Treat!
Hundreds of kids come in costume (with mom and dad) from 3:30 to 5:00 PM. Get a bright orange jack-o-lantern for your window at the Chamber office. Residential trick-or-treating is 6 to 8 PM on October 31st.
November - Reality Store.
A dose of reality for eighth grade students. Business and community members volunteer to help students understand some of the things we need to plan for in "the real world" likecareer, family, housing, insurance, & etc.
December - Hometown Christmas
. The first Friday in December, take in the sights and sounds of Christmas with a hometown parade, Christmas shopping and special treats - and you can win a HUGE gift basket courtesy of local business!
To volunteer, participate, or sponsor any of these events, email the
Chamber
(616) 754-5697.
