City Clerk

The City Clerk serves as Clerk to the City Council. The Clerks Office administers elections and maintains voter registration records, maintains all City records and documents, and posts all public notices.

While the Clerk's Office is primarily associated with elections, a number of other services are provided to local residents through this department. 

Services Include: 

  • Maintaining files of all permanent records of ordinances, resolutions, minutes, and official actions of the various municipal bodies such as the City Council and Boards of Commissions. (Copies of these records are available at a nominal cost.)
  • Maintaining copies of City maps and Charter books. (Copies available at a nominal cost.)
  • Notary Public Service (at no charge for residents).


Voting & Election Services

The City Clerk provides election services to more than
