The office is responsible for the accounting and all financial aspects of the City of Greenville, including all activities related to the receipt and collection of revenue, the safekeeping and investment of revenue, and an accurate accounting for and the disbursement of revenue.

The office manages the collection and processing of taxes, preparing utility bills, accounts payable, payroll, and general financial record keeping for the city.
