TRASH COLLECTION

Greenville City residents have their trash and recycling picked up every Wednesday.  The City contracts the Allied Waste for this service.  A large trash container will be provided to each residence.  Commercial and residential customers may contact City Hall if you have questions or would like to start or stop service, 616.754.5645.

BULK ITEM COLLECTION
May 3 – May 7, 2010

Allied Waste Services will be providing bulk item collection for the residents of Greenville. Collection at your residence will be the day indicated on the ‘Bulk Item & Trash Collection” map. After the clean-up week is through, regular trash collection will resume on Wednesdays.

• The regular trash collection will occur with your clean-up collection date for the week of May 3-7, 2010.
• Greenville residents only (violators will be prosecuted)
• Place bulk items such as sofas, stoves, refrigerators, water heaters, carpet rolls at the curb.
• Place trash items at curb on scheduled trash day.
• Indicate with a sticker that Freon has been removed from refrigerators and freezers in an approved manner.

RECYCLING

In conjunction with the City of Greenville, Allied Waste is pleased to offer each resident weekly curbside recycling pick up.  Please download and read the Curbside Recycling Guidelines Bruchure to prepare and ensure proper use of the services.

The Transfer Station located on Shearer Road is temporarily closed.

Eureka Township residents can take advantage of free recycling at Grattan Academy on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
