Greenville Michigan honors our history with two museums: The Flat River Historical Museum stands on the most historic site in Greenville; the site where John Green built his cabin in 1844. It features household, family, military, lumbering, industrial, and Native American exhibits. You can even watch a classic movie in the replica of the old Silver Theatre. Call (616) 754-5296. Fighting Falcon Military Museum: In 1942, Greenville’s Gibson Refrigerator Company received a contract from the U.S. Army Air Forces to produce CG-4A troop carrying gliders. Come see the “Fighting Falcon” and more military history in this acclaimed museum. Call (616) 225-1940.
