75 Miles…an easy day trip! The views and the activities are well worth the drive! Here are a few ideas to get you started:
Grand Haven State Park
:
48-acre park with the shore of Lake Michigan along the west side and the Grand River along the north side; consists entirely of beach sand and provids scenic views of Lake Michigan and the Grand Haven pier and lighthouse. (616) 847-1309
PJ Hoffmaster State Park
:
Forest-covered dunes along nearly 3 miles of Lake Michigan shore. Its sandy beach is one of the finest anywhere. A focal point of the park is the Gillette Visitor Center. (231) 798-3711
Pioneer Park
: 145-acre park on Lake Michigan offers camping, swimming, sunbathing, picnicking, tennis, softball, basketball, volleyball, and over 2,000 feet of white sandy beach frontage. (231) 744-3580
Michigan’s Adventure Amusement & Wild Water Park
: Owned and operated by the same folks as Cedar Point, this summer fun amusement park and water park has it all in one location. (616) 766-3377
Race Tracks
:
Plenty of horsepower - both motorized and the kind running on four legs. Speedway, raceway, dragway - if it has an oval track, a figure 8 course or a drag strip; drivers, crews and race fans are there on Saturday nights from April to October.

: Fine dining, world class entertainment, luxurious spas and thrilling gaming. Located in Mount Pleasant, Michigan (just over an hour away from Greenville)
