   Greenville Trails

Paved Trails
Mountain Bike Trails

Greenville offers trails for people with all interests.  Bike, walk, run, skate, stroll or hike, there is something for everyone. Click on the links below for more trail information.

Fred Meijer Flat River Trail:
Winner of the  “Quality of Life Award” by the American Society of Civil Engineers. This paved trail is a 4.4 mile path traversing through the city, connecting 5 major parks, Baldwin Lake, shopping, many beautiful natural resources along the Flat River and much more.  Soon it will be 9 miles long and also will connect to the Fred Meijer Heartland Trail.

The Fred Meijer Heartland Trail: is a paved trail that traverses through woodlands, wetlands, famland, small towns and rolling hills.  The trail extends approximately 40 miles.  From Greenville, enter the trail via Lake Road (off of Peck Rd) just north of Greenville.  Take the trail north through Sidney, Stanton and McBride to Edmore; then East through Vestaburg to Riverdale.

Edwards Creek Mountain Bike Trail: 7.35 miles of winding beginner, intermediate and expert single-track trails. This trail is tight, technical and very challenging. Bring your technical skills and endurance. More trails will be added in the future.

Shearer Road Mountain Bike Trail: This 4.5 mile course maximizes the little amount of elevation change available. Rocks, logs, and other obstacles add challenge to the beginner and intermediate trail loops.

Combine the two mountain bike trails via the Fred Meijer Flat River Trail and challenge yourself to a nice 17.5 mile ride.
