Welcome to Historic Downtown

Greenville, Michigan

With over 70 retailers, restaurants and service businesses in our downtown, we've got what you want. We invite you to come down to explore our commercial and residential properties.  Grab a bit to eat in one of the many fantastic restaurants. Stroll through several retail shops, an art gallery, and a coffee shop.  Enjoy the beautiful streetscape while taking a break in the park.  We are sure you will enjoy the hometown feel our downtown provides.

The mission of the DDA is to develop and implement a collaborative plan to create and sustain a viable commercial district in Greenville.

To accomplish this, the DDA has undertaken many projects to improve the district such as construction of the downtown parking lots, water and sewer expansion to the northern and western business districts, construction of the downtown streetscape, and construction of Lafayette Park.

To further improve the district, the DDA is currently implementing five goals outlined in the plan.  The five strategic goals include development of a space use plan, a property improvement plan, a communication plan, a marketing plan, and a district theme and identity.
