Historic Downtown.

Downtown Greenville has been on both the state and federal registry of historic places since 2008. This designation provides access to contractor lists, guidelines, and other resources that help Greenville qualify for tax credits.

The DDA was established in 1979 with the goal of preserving and enhancing infrastructure specifically in the downtown district.

Re-established in 2024, the HDC is responsible for reviewing all applications for exterior work that is completed within its boundaries.

Established in 2021, the Greenville Outdoor Lafayette District allows patrons to purchase and consume adult beverages in the designated area.
