Downtown Development Authority

The DDA was established in 1979 with the goal of preserving and enhancing infrastructure specifically in the downtown district.

The mission of the DDA is to develop and implement a collaborative plan to create and sustain a viable commercial district in Greenville. To accomplish this, the DDA has undertaken many projects to improve the district such as construction of the downtown parking lots, water and sewer expansion to the northern and western business districts, construction of the downtown streetscape, construction of Lafayette Park, and an update to Heritage Park.

The DDA  board meets the second Monday of each month, check the event calendar for more information.

In accordance with PA57 requirements the DDA will hold two informational meetings each year.
